Controls

The original's defaults. The game starts with the keyboard. To play with the mouse, press M in a level, or choose the mouse in the options' controller page, which is kept. In a level, M, K and J switch to the mouse, the keyboard and a pad.

"Activate" in the game's texts ("Press activate to exit level") is the creep button.

Menus use the arrow keys, Enter and Esc, or the mouse.

In the browser, the mouse controller captures the mouse, so it can't leave the game: the player asks for it when you press M, or click the game if the line under it says so. Esc releases it: that is the browser's own key for it, which no page can change. Holding Esc for a second stops the game.

On Windows, Left Alt with Left Shift switches the keyboard layout when more than one is installed. That is the system's shortcut, and neither the game nor the browser can block it: remove the spare layout, or change the shortcut in the language settings.
